NEUES LUZERNER THEATER COMPETITION. “MALAIKA”

The NEUE LUZERNER THEATER proposal under MALAIKA motto results from the highly specific technical mandatory parameters and transcribes all site and context conditions and precautions advised and found in and beyond the extensive, thorough and complete competition brief.

Located at the south riverbank where two of the pedestrian bridges arrive at Bahnhofstrasse from the other side where the current Theater is to become substituted by the NEUE one.
The esplanade extending beyond the baroque Jesuits church to the East is a new public and civic space preparing the insertion, use, enjoyment of all theater, opera, dance, performative and social events hosted in the NEUE Theater.

“Malaika” was among the 21 projects in the last round.
